Through his paintings, Michel tells the story of the local people, showing them to us at their work-place. His particular point of view brings poignant emotion to each painting.
Another self-taught artist, Michel Randria, started is career with pencil drawing and moved on to produce comic books.
Following artistic training provided by an NGO, Michel was fortunate to meet Fulgence, with whom he soon formed an Association “SARIKANTO” to help local artists exhibit, to encourage an artistic exchange and to promote their work.
Michel has been painting with great success since 2001. His work is greatly appreciated abroad where he has exhibited for over 10 years and in Madagascar where he has a considerable renown. His immense talent and his hard endeavour have been well rewarded!
